This Is Koby And He's Just Been Put On The Manhattan Euth List For Tomorrow! What A Mushface!
KOBY #A867838. Koby is a male b&w American Shorthair/mix. The shelter thinks he's about 2 years old. He came into the shelter as a stray on 07/20/2010, owner surrender, reason stated was stray. Koby is very sweet but his behavior was marked severe when he first arrived. That has changed dramatically! He's a sugarboy now! Another person noted the same thing on his kennel card. He needs to be re-evaluated but there's no more time now.

Tuffy is approximately 5 years old, is neutered and microchipped. Tuffy is in need of a special family as he is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Tuffy is an absolute sweetheart, he is very gentle, affectionate, friendly, and loves sitting on laps. Due to his FIV status, he needs to be the only cat in the household and must be 100% indoors only. FIV+ cats can often live many years when kept in optimum health and will require a high quality diet as well as regular veterinary examinations and care (incl. vaccinations and flea control), *Please be aware that FIV is not contagious to humans, dogs, or any non-feline animal. Tuffy came to the shelter injured and it is believed that he may have been hit by a car. His wounds are healing, although he is still a bit "beat up" looking, but you would never know what a hard time he has had by his behavior. He was named Tuffy because of his brave and loving spirit, despite the hardships he has obviously endured before winding up here. I watched him yesterday as he sat on the lap of a child who is a volunteer "cat cuddler" in the cat room as she stroked and talked to him. I have never seen a cat so clearly blissful and adoring of a human; his eyes were partly closed, his head was arched back so he could gaze at her face, his body was totally relaxed and absolute joy and contentment simply emanated from every part of him. This is clearly a cat that will be totally devoted to someone who will love him. He deserves a special person who will be totally devoted to him in return.

Murphy is a charming older gentleman in search of a new home. With his brown tabby coat that is soft and sleek to the touch, this guy will curl up on a warm lap and purr. Murphy is very tolerant of dogs, but would prefer to be the only cat in the home. Could you give him the retirement home he deserves? Some shelters do not consider pets over 3-years-old adoptable, but we know that Murph Man is an affectionate and well-mannered cat who would bring smiles to someone's life. We will give him all the time he needs to find the right home willing to meet his special needs.
As with all of our cats, Murphy has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed and vaccinated. All of our cats have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV and go home with a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and their very own collar and identification tag.
