You don’t need to search over the rainbow for a pet this St. Patrick’s week

You won’t need the luck of the Irish to find a great pet at Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) this St. Patrick’s week. Cats and dogs of every size and color are ready for adoption at the animal shelter in Kent, Wash.
Adopting a pet from RASKC won’t cost you a lot of “green.” All pets from RASKC have had a veterinary exam, come spayed or neutered, have received all of their vaccinations (including rabies), and come with a pet license. Additionally, adult cats aged 6 months or older are available to adopt for just the cost of a pet license.
This week, Regional Animal Services is joining with Petfinder.com to help the website celebrate its 15th birthday. Many of RASKC’s adoptable pets are listed online through Petfinder.com, and can be found at www.kingcounty.gov/pets. The celebration kicks off on Tuesday, March 15 with Petfinder’s “Adopt the Internet Day.” Residents can support adoptable pets online by adding a special badge to their website, by Tweeting about adoptable pets, or by adding an adoptable pet to their Facebook page.
